Doghouse Records dropped a superb track from R.LUM.R called “Nothing New” last week. “Nothing New” is a sweet alternative electronic original that was produced by Ethnikids. The beat is absolutely sick, which isn’t very surprising given Ethnikids’ involvement on the record. R.LUM.R’s vocal performance is something to be cherished. Ravishing lyrics are expressed by the Nashville artist, whose dynamic record is something we wouldn’t mind coming across on top 40 radio stations. It’s not watered down or poppy, but it’s prestige is something that we hope more than just the underground gets a hold of. “Nothing New” has been on repeat for us, and we’re sure it will be for you too.
